In-House Diagnostics

When your pet shows signs of illness, laboratory testing is often the veterinarian’s initial diagnostic step. Arcadia Animal Hospital features a complete in-house laboratory, allowing us to perform most tests right here in our facility, which reduces both wait times and costs.

We typically deliver results within 30 minutes for standard diagnostics, including:

• Comprehensive bloodwork: blood chemistry panels, complete blood count (CBC), heartworm testing, feline leukemia and FIV screening, specialized pancreatic and kidney panels, digital radiographs, and diabetic glucose monitoring
• Fecal analysis: parvovirus detection, intestinal parasite identification, and bacterial infection screening
• Urinalysis
• Cytology – microscopic evaluation of specimens from skin and ear infections, masses or tumors, or fluid samples
